The Forbidden Fruit
Exhibition in Germany
I had the incredible opportunity to showcase my work in The Forbidden Fruit, a group exhibition curated by Silke Aurora and Julia Selow. The exhibition, held at Gallery Newtzwork in Trier, Germany, explored themes of femininity, desire, and the boundaries of self-expression.
My collages were displayed alongside powerful works from other artists, creating a dialogue about the perception of femininity in contemporary society. The event was an immersive experience, featuring performances, interactive installations, and thought-provoking conversations.
Being part of this exhibition was a milestone in my artistic journey, reinforcing my passion for creating and sharing art that challenges perspectives and evokes emotion.

My personal journey
One of the most rewarding moments was selling 25 of my works, a testament to how art resonates on a deeply personal level. Yet, amid the excitement, I also felt the complexities of being a female artist in a world that often romanticizes but also challenges women’s creative voices. The exhibition made me reflect on the fine line between empowerment and expectation—how we, as women, are constantly navigating between expressing ourselves freely and confronting the societal gaze.
Being part of The Forbidden Fruit was more than just an artistic achievement; it was a moment of realization, of connection, and of pushing boundaries—not just for myself, but for the collective voice of women in art.
